To mark this momentous occasion, we would like to create a calendar to raise money for a charity that offers mental, physical and financial help for construction workers across the whole of the UK. Lighthouse Charity
The theme of the calendar is 'Streetworks around the world'
Get your cameras out when you are abroad on your holidays and snap away on the works you come across (or submit those you already have) and submit your photographs to enter the competition. Ideally we are looking for an image of 2MB or more in size or 2400 x 1800 pixels.
There will be a group of unbiased judges (from outside both the street and road works sectors) to judge the entries and the top 25 photos will be put to a vote from you to decide what gets published.
There will be 13 photos selected, - one for each month and the overall winner will have their photo on the front cover and their photograph put onto canvas.
The calendar will be produced in October and will be sold for £10. More details on this later.
